"On first inspection of the 27 Skincare Aching Joint Cream I found I really like the labelling as it looks old and vintage and gave me the impression the product has been around a while therefore tried and tested.
I found the writing on label a little small, particularly as it may well be people of a certain age using the cream, I could only just read it with my glasses on. However this was a 50ml bottle of Joint Ache Cream and I am sure that younger generations would not suffer with the guidance and ingredients details. The description of the natural ingredients pleased me and I put the cream into action straight away.
A gorgeous smell was apparent as soon as I opened the jar and I instantly loved the cream before applying! I would love to have it as a body lotion! The cream itself rubbed on smoothly and I found it to be non-greasy. I can honestly say I felt relaxed as soon as the cream was rubbed onto my skin.
I found it offered relief to the milder aching joints, say the ache you get when you have been to the gym or just overdone it a little. With aches that are chronic not quite as good but did give some relief. It got me round 9 holes of golf and then I had to re- apply to my ankle to do the next 9 holes!
I like the ideas that it is natural. We take too may pills today which have side effects, if we can use natural products all the better. The jar was a perfect size to fit into my handbag and retails at £10.99 for 50ml.
I would definitely use this cream again; it is lovely to know a product like this is natural and on that principle would definitely recommend to others."
"Knowing that the 27 Skincare Aching Joint cream is lovingly made with natural ingredients I was eager to try this cream and had high expectations. The brown frosted glass jar with a white label and black writing that the natural product comes in is lovely and has a very “olde” fashioned feel to it and it wouldn’t look out of place in anyone’s bathroom.
The cream has a very pleasant fragrance to it in the jar and when applied. The cream itself is white in colour and has a perfect consistency – not to thick and not too thin. It is very easy to apply to the areas that require the ache cream and rubbed in very quickly with none of the greasy side effects that some other products have.
I did feel that the Aching Joint Cream soothed my aches, I did need to reapply every so often though felt this was not a chore as the fragrance was so lovely. The 50ml jar was very portable and I found I was able to take it around with me during the day and apply when required. My friends even commented on the cream and their feedback was also very positive."
"I have read before that St. John’s Wort is a great healer so it was nice to see it was one of the main natural ingredients the Joint Ache Cream was made from. All the products in the 27 Skincare range are handmade and a lot of thought has gone into the packaging as the glass container has an old fashioned ointment look which appealed to me.
Once applied, I was pleasantly surprised that the cream was non-greasy and absorbed quite quickly into my skin. Fantastic if you are just heading out of the door! I was surprised as I have had experiences in the past where I have found some natural and organic products to be slightly greasy due to all the goodness they have in them! The scent was nicer than some ache creams and the Lavender essential oil was apparent in the fragrance which has a lovely uplifting scent.
The Aching Joint Cream worked well on my usual daily aches and I woke in the mornings feeling a lot better and more relaxed. With some ache creams you feel a real burning sensation when applied but I noticed this cream did not have that same uncomfortable sensation.
As a vegetarian myself I like that the cream is natural, suitable for vegetarians and not tested on animals. At £10.99 for a 50ml container it may seem a little expensive however knowing this is a handmade, natural product and usage wise only a little is required. I definitely found a little goes a long way and will continue to use in the future."
