Bickiepegs Reviews
Bickiepegs can be purchased directly from www.bickiepegs.co.uk priced at £1.85 for a pack of 9 biscuits.
"Bickiepegs have been around for 85 years and are designed to help the development of teeth and ease the pain of teething. The biscuits are suitable from 6 months and cost £1.85 for a pack 9.
The packaging for Bickiepegs is ideal. Compact and secure (unless it gets wet) it’ll fit easily in a handbag, changing bag or purse without taking up too much of that valuable space.
Bickiepegs are perfectly designed for little hands to hold and little mouths to chew, although they are rather tasteless in my opinion. My four year old also had a taste after much nagging and continued to suck/chew for a bit before realising that he couldn’t actually get anywhere with them.
Bickiepegs are simple to use, they come with 2 ribbons to tie around babies clothes to ensure they do not provide a choking hazard then just give them to baby and away they go, obviously do not leave baby unattended with one and only use for a maximum of 20 minutes before disposing of the Bickiepeg.
My 7 month old daughter Dot sounded like a pigeon while busy with the Bickiepeg and it kept her entertained for a good 15 minutes. Being made from natural ingredients I wasn’t concerned about giving her a Bickiepeg.
I’ve recommended the product to a friend whose baby is also currently teething and gave her a Bickiepeg to try, her baby wasn’t as impressed. I guess, as with most things, it’s the taste of the baby that defines how effective a product like this is.
Bickiepegs are, in my opinion, a fantastic way for babies to develop their chewing technique as well as easing the pain of teething and at £1.85 I will definitely be buying again. I give Bickiepegs a 4/5 purely because something could be done to make them taste nicer but in every other way they got full marks."

"I was really impressed with Bickiepegs when I opened the compact purple and white box. Inside are 9 finger length (and thickness) biscuits that have holes in them near the top of the biscuits. Holes in a biscuit? This is due to the ribbons, also included, which are threaded through the whole in order to secure the biscuit to the child.
Bickiepegs can be used from 6 months to help reduce the pain of teething and can also be used as a chewing aid to help babies get used to the chew motion especially when teeth and jaws are still developing.
My 1 year old was suffering badly with his molar teeth coming through and although previously I had used frozen sticks of carrots, I felt these were not working anymore. The Bickiepegs arrived at the right time and my son starting chomping and biting away at the biscuit quite happily. The ribbon also distracted him away from the pain and gave him something on which to concentrate.
It is recommended that the biscuits are only used for a maximum of 20 minutes (instructions are included in the box) and as we were coming up to the time limit I took the biscuit away from my son – he did not like this at all and I had to promise to let him chew on another later in the day.
The Bickiepegs biscuits have been available for almost 100 years and do not contain any added flavourings, sugar or colourings. This could account for the almost oatmeal colour of the product. As an adult I did not enjoy the taste of the biscuits however they are meant for babies and at that stage babies have not acquired such a sweet tooth!! The biscuits are also kosher and suitable for vegans and vegetarians – so much thought has gone into developing Bickiepegs and it goes to show the old ways generally are the best!
Priced at £1.85 for a pack of 9 I will definitely recommend and use again myself. The sound of silence is priceless and with a teething child you do not get much peace. Though for those 20 minutes you are almost guaranteed some peace and quiet and this time was definitely enjoyed!
Bickiepegs are a definite must for any teething child – spread the word!!"
