"Clearly Herbal Natural Baby Wipes are completely natural and gentle, only containing natural aloe vera, tea tree oil and de-ionised water. They are suitable for all skin types and they don’t contain alcohol, lanolin, perfume, SLS, parabens and chlorine.
I did not know much about the Clearly Herbal range when I received the wipes; in fact I had never heard of them. By the name though, I expected a good quality wipe. The packaging is clean-looking and good quality. The information on the packaging is also very good.
The Natural Baby Wipes did not let me down on the quality. They smell absolutely gorgeous thanks to the aloe vera and tea tree oil, Dot also liked the taste of them! The wipes are soft just like a baby’s bottom which is a necessity considering how often a baby requires a nappy change. The wipes are excellent at mopping up excess liquid and cleaning messy nappies as they are thicker than the average wipe.
My only slight complaint about the Clearly Herbal Natural Baby Wipes was how moist they are. Baby wipes do need to be moist however I found I had to dry Dot’s bottom with a dry cloth when I reached the wipes half way through the pack because all the moisture had sank. Though I do find this is the case with most baby wipes anyway so this certainly would not put me off buying the Clearly Herbal Natural Wipes.
The cheapest price I found online for Clearly Herbal Natural Baby Wipes was £2.49 for a pack of 80 wipes which did prove my initial thoughts right, they are more expensive than the average wipes but then the wipes are much better quality than the current wipes I purchase. Would the cost put me off purchasing them? I do not think so, I really liked the Clearly Herbal Natural Baby Wipes and I had plenty of comments from my family about how nice they are. My mother even commented that it is worth paying that little bit extra for quality products such as Clearly Herbal.
So, yes I will be recommending the Clearly Herbal Natural Baby Wipes to friends and family alike and these wipes score 4/5 from me. The Clearly Herbal range also includes Bamboo Cloth Wipes (these are being reviewed separately) and a Baby Bath Range (which, incidentally, I’d also love to try out)."
"The Clearly Herbal Natural Wipes are quite eye catching due to the green and purple packaging with plastic resealable lid. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the pack for the first time. The wipes smell lovely and fresh and I found the wipes to be quite thick and wide and contained just the right amount of moisture in them.
After using the wipes over a week period I found them to be very soft and my baby’s skin and moisturized his skin when used to clean his hands and face. The wipes worked brilliantly when cleaning and I noticed I still had some left in the pack after a full week’s use which is unheard of in our household!
The Clearly Herbal Natural Wipes are exactly what you would expect from the name… fantastic quality and the wipes contain soothing Aloe Vera and Tea Tree Oil. These ingredients give the wipes a wonderful fresh fragrance that makes my baby’s skin smell very fresh and clean. I would have no qualms using these particular wipes again in future and would certainly pay a little more for the fantastic quality of these wipes!"
"The Clearly Herbal Natural Wipes are effective on both adult and baby skin. I always test wipes on my skin before I use on my daughter as if they are not soft enough for me then they will not be for my child.
The brightly coloured pack of 80 wipes has a unique style and instantly gives the impression of good quality. I found the wipes were very soft and smelt wonderful. They easily wiped any makeup from my face and actually left my skin feeling moisturised. Once the wipes had passed my own test I then used on my baby.
The wipes had a very positive reaction and cleaned my daughter’s skin very well without leaving her skin too damp. My daughter has tendancy to rip wipes out packs resulting in me going through lots of packs of wipes which makes me feel very guilty! However due to the resealable plastic lid she struggled to open the wipes and therefore I certainly did not use as many as I normally would however I feel that the strength and thickness of the wipes contributed to this as they gave good coverage.
I have definitely been impressed with the Clearly Herbal Natural Wipes and will use them again in future – I just wish they were more available (ie. Tesco) however there are plenty of websites that stock the wipes, so I shall make sure I bulk up!"
