"The Faith In Nature Lavender and Geranium Shower Gel and Foam Bath comes in a lovely bulky clear bottle and instantly you are attracted to the purple-pink colour of the product. The packaging was simple and natural looking and the purple colour of the label caught my eye. Upon opening the bottle I found the fragrance to be very soothing - just what I would expect from a product containing Lavender, the fragrance was still evident when I used it as a shower gel and as bath foam.
When using the product as a shower gel I was surprised at how easy it was to apply, although the consistency was slightly watery but it lathered up very well and I felt clean and relaxed after using it.
When used as a bath foam I found it very easy to pour and it mixed well with the water to produce a lovely bubbly bath. Priced at £4.35 for a 400ml bottle it was priced slightly more than I would normally pay for a shower gel but considering this is really 2 products in one I would not be put off by the price. I really did love the fact the Faith In Nature Shower Gel and Foam Bath had two uses and would give this marks of 4/5!"
"I was really happy to be able to test the Faith In Nature Lavender and Geranium Shower Gel and Foam Bath as I have used this exact product before - the fragrance reminded me of my holidays, so this was a nice trip down memory lane!
The packaging and container design is well made and I found it did have a “healthy/organic” feel to it, the bottle was not too big for a shower gel but not too small for a bubble bath.
My whole family were able to use this product either as a shower gel or in a bath and I was really impressed with the multi-use of this product. Combined the price of £4.35 is roughly what I would pay for a single shower gel and single bath foam so for me this price seemed very reasonable.
When used in my childrens' bath we found that the bubbles were long lasting, they enjoyed the feel and looked clean afterwards. Their skin also felt soft, I was impressed that this product also helped keep their skin moisturised.
As a shower gel I felt it worked well on my skin – the gel foamed as I expect a shower gel to and the fragrance on my skin was quite calming but very light and barely there – for me this was perfect as I do not like overpowering fragrances. My husband on the other hand mentioned the fragrance reminded him of “old ladies” but how much do men actually know about skincare products? For this reason I chose to ignore his remarks and continue using as I really enjoyed using this product.
I would definitely purchase in the future and would certainly recommend – though for those who are unsure of the fragrance there are others in this range and this multi-use product is a fantastic buy especially if you have a large family!"
"A fantastic 2-in-1 product that is not only fabulous for your skin but also contains no ‘nasties’ – just lots and lots of goodness! This is reassuring knowing that it can be used for the whole family or as a treat just for you! I found the Lavender and Geranium aroma to be very calming and soothing and when I poured into my bath and waited for it to fill I was instantly calmed. Lavender is not normally a scent I would willingly search for however I was glad that I trialled this product as it proved that a Lavender aroma does not have to be overbearing. The product when used as a bath foam did produce more bubbles than expected as although shower gels do lather some do not produce lots of bubbles. My skin felt lovely and nourished after my bath and I was still able to detect a slight scent from the bath foam.
Using the product on my sponge I found that it was very easy to pour and control – the bottle at 400ml is slightly larger than I am used to using in the shower however did not struggle at all. As a shower gel it lathered well and I felt instantly clean upon use. The consistency was slightly thinner than I am used to however how the product fared on my skin more than made up for this slight fact.
My eyes were attracted to the bottle as it has a lovely purple label which fit my ideal regarding Lavender – purple is also my favourite colour! The top was a large green flip top lid which I found very easy to open and use. My impression of the bottle and packaging was that the product seems aimed at a younger adult market despite the fragrance of the product.
All in all a wonderful idea to have 2 products in one – albeit they are connected in the fact they are for use in the bathroom – their uses are completely different and as single products I have different expectations and requirements from both however I felt that as a 2-in-1 product the Faith In Nature Shower Gel and Foam Bath was fantastic and value for money as it lasted longer than I expected it to."
