We get really excited about reviewing products associated with travelling and the FlexiBath (the foldable bath) was no exception. Having heard about this product previously but never considered it because I though Olivia at 2 years was too old or too big to fit in it. I was extremely surprised when I found out the FlexiBath is suitable for children up to the age of 4 or even for 2 small children.

As a family who travel long journeys (with Liv, a cat and a dog in the car) space really is a huge factor and dictates what we can take and what we cannot (usually my extra bag!!). No need to worry about finding extra room for the FlexiBath, it slotted nicely into the boot as it can be folded almost flat, with the use of a hook that keep the bath firmly closed together.

When you need to use the bath you simply push in the FlexiBath slightly whilst lifting up the hook and letting it slowly fold itself out. It really is so simple and easy to use!
All you need to do is fill the FlexiBath with water, you will notice that it slighlty expands whilst being filled and will appear larger than normal. Upon seeing this with my own eyes, I completely understood how the bath could fit 2 younger children with ease.

Liv was very curious about using the FlexiBath, for us it made sense as our in-laws have a huge bath that takes an age to fill and the FlexiBath filled to a desirable level in no time at all. She accepted that this was her place for a bath and quite happily splashed about as normal, though was unable to move as freely as normal. This however can only be expected due to the size difference!

When Liv was ready to climb out of the FlexiBath, we released the water from the bath with the use of a valve located on the bottom of the bath, gave it a quick wipe and then closed up to be stored away neatly in the bathroom.

Even when you are not considering using this product as a travel item it is a great space saver in your own home, especially with younger children. I know we will definitely use the FlexiBath again, especially when we visit my parents on holiday, I only wish we had considered this before when Liv was much younger. It really would have come in very handy and I would recommend it for parents with younger children (newborn upwards) - very easy to use, to store and allows a child to easily get used to bathtime!
