"Fruity Faces are quite simply inflatable fruit protectors. They keep fruit fresh and bruise-less when away from home. They are perfect for picnics and school snack times. They are food safe and made from Pthalate free PVC which is non-toxic. When I first saw the Fruity Faces I was amazed by how colourful and fun they look. I even hoped they’d turn my pain-in-the-neck-fruit-phobic son into a fruit lover.
Fruity Faces are available in many different designs including a football, various animals, faceless and a banana shaped one! They are washable (although do not put them in a dishwasher) warm soapy water is enough.
Garreth was very excited to receive the Fruity Faces although he’s still adamant the round one’s are for his ball and remains dismayed that his ball is still too big for them. He is not a fan of fruit at all but upon receiving the Fruity Faces (we got a blue one, a football and a banana) he rushed to the fruit cupboard, grabbed a banana and insisted we put it in right away and go for a walk. I did as I was told and clipped the banana Fruity Face to his belt (that’s a great idea by the way fruit never needs to get lost in a bag ever again!) and away we went. While out he kept nagging to eat his banana and on getting it out it was unbruised and good to eat.
Fruity Faces are easily stored thanks to being inflatable. And are easy to inflate and deflate. You blow the banana one up BEFORE putting the banana in, but the round fruit needs to go in BEFORE you blow the round ones up otherwise you’ll end up with a peculiar looking Fruity Face. ;)
I think Fruity Faces are really innovative and worth the £4.00 they cost. They have turned my fruit-phobic child into a fruit-friendly child. I’ll definitely be sending Garreth to school with his banana in his Fruity Face as I’m still working on round fruit."
"Fruity Faces are THE perfect product to making eating fruit fun for children! If you have a fussy eater who refuses to eat fruit then try introducing Fruity Faces and you will not be disappointed! We trialled two round Fruity Faces one a lovely pink colour with a face and a green with a face. Both have colour coordinated clippy keyrings attached making it easy for your children to either clip to their clothes, bags or lunch boxes.
The round Fruity Faces are perfect for protecting apples as we all know how easily they can be bruised! We found them very easy to use indeed, open the Fruity Face, pop in the fruit and inflate the Fruity Face so that it completely cushions the fruit. There is a lip and Velcro strip that fastens the Fruity Face together so that the fruit does not fall out and it is fully secure. Having a toddler who loves to throw things we found the apple we used did not bruise in the slightest and stayed intact. I love how much thought has gone into these products to make them so appealing to children. There is a section on the Fruity Face where you can write your child’s name and class number which makes it less likely to be lost.
They are fun to collect with several different shapes and designs including football faces, banana protectors and Fruity Faces for multiple fruit – perfect if you are going on a picnic! Completely food safe and are made from Pthalate free PVC they come in a range of bright colours that catch everyone’s eye! They can easily be hand washed to ensure continued hygiene. Priced at £4.00 they are very reasonably priced, if the Fruity Faces do help your child eat fruit then they are definitely worth every penny!
I would definitely recommend Fruity Faces to anyone who has children however I have even used them for my own fruit so are perfect for the whole family!"
